Another NEOOPS-sponsored event was the 10th European Shared Services Leaders’ Summit, taking place in London from March 14th to 16th. As opposed to the Viennese conference, this was a large-scale event organized by Shared Services Link, with over 100 delegates attending. This summit primarily focused on Shared Services across central and western Europe, including the UK.
NEOOPS hosted and interactive Learning Lab titled “How to Get More Out of Your Robots?”. The aim of this 2.5-hour session was to engage the audience while addressing key points of the RPA transition, make it as interactive and practical as possible.
The Lab was originally supposed to host up to 13 delegates but due to overwhelming interest, the room ended up being packed with 25 attendees with various levels of RPA experience. While this made it somewhat difficult to deliver the interactive part of the session, as there was barely any room for group activities, the Lab was very well-received. To sum up, the topics addressed generated interesting follow-up discussions and a lot of practical examples were shared with the audience as well.
The Managing Director of NEOOPS Jan Rapala also attended a panel discussion called “The Impact of RPA on Shared Centre Organizations”. The panel consisted of a group of RPA providers, who discussed the key topics of the Summit. This included the effects on the Target Operating Model, the digitalizing workforce and whether Intelligent automation and AI should be next on the Shared Services list.
