On October 18th, NEOOPS sponsored and participated in the 4th ABSL conference hosted at the Grandior Hotel, in Prague. The above picture was taken during the NEOOPS Robotic Process Automation Panel Discussion that brought together five of our business services clients who are utilising Blue Prism robotics platform with the aim of sharing their successes and challenges when preparing and implementing robotic projects in their organizations.
Jan Rapala – NEOOPS Managing Director and Founder, moderated the discussion and had the pleasure of posing interesting questions to the following representatives (from left to right): Jakub Novotny, Lead for Robotics Deployment at AB inBev, Adam Kiwalski, Head of Business Shared Services and Operational Excellence at Siemens, Tomas Kolman, Lead for Automation Programme at OKIN, Radka Belissimo, Head of Jarden Business Services Group and Robert Sgariboldi, Regional Business Service Center Manager at Panalpina.
From the discussion we were able to conclude that the successes and challenges that organizations face when implementing Robotic Process Automation are extremely similar. Regardless of their business model, our representatives pointed that getting the whole organization on-board in quick fashion continues to be the hardest challenge when implementing Robotics. On the positive side, our clients were very impressed with the benefits associated with RPA and how fast NEOOPS can move from the process suitability analysis to implementing robotics in production.
Paraphrasing the words of Jan Rapala, we expect to be back at ABSL next year again, with a handful of case studies to present.
